Preparation steps

1.

For the dough: put flour in a bowl. Dissolve yeast in milk and add together with salt to the flour. Process with the dough attachment of the hand mixer to a smooth dough, add more flour or lukewarm milk if necessary. With your hands, knead for about 5 minutes vigorously, place in a bowl, cover and let rest for about 1 hour in a warm place.

2.

For the topping: peel onions and cut into thin slices. Heat butter in a pan and cook onions until soft. Remove from heat and let cool.

3.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

4.

Roll out dough on a floured surface and line baking sheet with it, making an edge all around. Spread with onions. Whisk sour cream with cream, eggs, salt, pepper, cumin powder and bacon, spread on onions and bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 1 hour or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve.
