This delicious cheesy dish will keep you full for hours thanks to the combination of bacon, cottage cheese, hard cheese and eggs, all of which are great sources of protein.
Cut down a bit on the fat content by substituting regular bacon for leaner turkey bacon.

- 10 cups colored Farfalle (bow tie pasta)
- 1 ⅓ cups peas
- 1 onion (diced)
- ⅔ cup smoked Bacon (diced)
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 hard-boiled eggs (chopped)
- ⅔ cup semi hard Cheese (e. g. Gouda, cut into fine strips)
- For the dressing
- ½ cup Cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsps white wine vinegar (to taste)
- To garnish
- 2 Tbsps Chives

Preparation steps
1.
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Add the peas during the final 2 minutes, then drain.

Fry the onion and the bacon in 1 tbsp oil and then set aside.
3.
To make the dressing, mix the cottage cheese with the vinegar, the remaining oil, salt, ground black pepper and a pinch of sugar.
4.
Mix together the pasta, onion, bacon, eggs and cheese and arrange on plate. Drizzle with the dressing and sprinkle with the chives.
