Preparation steps

1.

For the crust, mix flour with 1 teaspoon salt. Add butter in pieces and water. Knead quickly into a smooth dough. Roll out thinly on a floured surface. Cut out rounds large enough to line greased small 6 cm (approximately 2 1/2-inch) diameter tart pans. Press dough into the pans and prick the dough several times with a fork. Refrigerate about 1 hour.

2.

For the filling, cut cheese into small cubes. Rinse plums, pit and thinly slice. Place the cheese in the crusts. Whisk milk with eggs and season with salt and pepper. Pour over the cheese and top with plum slices. Bake in preheated 200°C (approximately 400°F) oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
