For the dough
200 grams Pastry flour
100 grams Quark
50 milliliters milk
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
1 egg
1 pinch salt
Pastry flour (for dusting)
For the filling
4 eggs
2 Tbsps freshly chopped Dill
150 milliliters Whipped cream
400 grams Quark
150 grams freshly grated Cheese (such as Gruyère)

Nutmeg

Preparation steps

1.

For the dough: Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and knead with the dough hook attachment until smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and use to line the prepared pan.

For the filling: Whisk the eggs, dill, cream and quark together. Mix in the cheese, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, spread over the base and bake for about 1 hour.

5.

Remove from the oven, let cool and then cut out into 8 cm (approximately 3-inch) circles. Serve with smoked salmon and crackers.
