- 12 Chicken legs
- 12 slices Smoked ham
- ¾ cup green, pitted Olives (drained, halved)
- 3 cloves garlic cloves (halved)
- ⅞ cup dry white wine

Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C in a fan oven), 400°F, gas 6.
Wash the chicken legs and pat dry. Season with salt and ground black pepper. Wrap a slice of ham around each leg.
Butter a roasting tin and place the legs in the tin. Roast for approx. 45 minutes. After half the roasting time, turn the legs, add the olives and garlic and pour on the wine. Return to the oven for the remaining cooking time.
Serve on warmed plates.
