For the meatballs
300 grams Ground beef
1 egg
50 grams raisins
½ kaiser roll (from the day before)

For the sauce
40 grams butter
30 grams Pastry flour
2 Tbsps Curry
¼ l Vegetable broth (from a jar)
¼ l milk
½ tsp Cumin
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsps Apricot juice
200 grams Apricot (in a can)
5 slices Pineapple (in a can)
Lemon balm

Preparation steps

Heat the butter, stir in flour and curry, cook and pour in the broth and milk. Let cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring several times. Add the spices and lemon juice and stir. Cut the apricots into slices and cut the pineapple into pieces.

Mix the ground beef with egg, spices and raisins. Soak the bread in lukewarm water, squeeze it well, add to the meat and mix everything together. Form the mixture into 16 small meatballs and leave for 15 minutes in the curry sauce. Cook the meatballs and heat the fruits sauce. Garnish before serving with lemon balm.
