Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C preheat.

Rinse and gently dry all berries. Cut strawberries in halves or quarters, depending on size. Halve gooseberries. Combine mascarpone with quark, powdered sugar and egg yolks. Add lemon juice, vanilla sugar and lemon zest. In a second bowl, beat egg whites with sugar until stiff, fold in cornstarch and add to mascarpone. Place half of mascarpone mixture into 4 ovenproof large ramekins, top with berries and cover with the remaining mascarpone. Sprinkle with sugar and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for 8-10 minutes or until golden. Serve.
