Preparation steps

1.

Peel shallots. Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and cook shallots, covered, for 8 minutes on medium heat. Stir frequently.

Combine 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 3 tablespoons of water, 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and season with salt and pepper. Combine marinade with shallots and let stand for 2 hours. Season with pepper and serve as an appetizer.
