Mandarin-Orange Porridge
Healthy, because
Even smarter
Nutritional values
In the evening it is often easier and more comfortable for mother and child to give the bottle. Therefore the porridge should be thinner and prepared with juice. Mandarins strengthen the immune system with lots of vitamin C and are also milder than other citrus fruits. Ideal for the baby!
The porridge can also be made with grapes or with 2 tablespoons of apple or carrot juice. As an alternative to the rice flakes you can also use tender instant oat flakes without additives.

Preparation steps
Simmer the milk in a small pot. Pour through a funnel into a baby bottle and add the rice flakes.
Close the bottle and shake gently, so that as few air bubbles form as possible (they could lead to flatulence).
Peel the mandarin orange, separate into pieces and press through a sieve with a wooden spoon, capturing the juice in a bowl. Add juice to the bottle and shake again briefly.
Before serving, check temperature by squeezing a drop from the bottle on the back of your hand.
