4 Mackerel (about 300 grams, ready to cook)
salt
freshly ground peppers
2 organic Limes
1 bunch Mediterranean Fresh herbs (Marjoram, thyme, sage, rosemary)
vegetable oil (for greasing)
150 grams sour Whipped cream
2 Tbsps Yogurt Spread (such as Brunch Arrabbiata)
1 tsp spicy Lime chutney

Preparation steps

Preheat broiler. Rinse mackerel under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Season cavity with salt and pepper. With a sharp knife, score skin on both sides, cutting diagonally from the backbone. Cut lime into slices and coarsely chop herbs. Stuff cavity of fish with lime and herbs.

Drizzle fish with a little oil and place on an oiled grate. Place grate on a drip pan to catch dripping fat. Broil, watching carefully, on both sides, brushing with pan drippings, about 10 minutes total. Mix sour cream, yogurt spread, and lime chutney. Season mackerel with pepper and serve with dip.
