4 fresh Tuna steak

25 ozs Tomatoes
2 Tbsps finely chopped Basil
1 cup black Olives (pitted and finely chopped)
2 Tbsps Caper (finely chopped)
3 Tbsps Marsala wine
4 Tbsps breadcrumbs
4 Tbsps olive oil
Basil (to garnish, shredded)

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 175ºC (155º fan) 350ºF, gas 4. Season the tuna slices with salt and pepper and place in an oiled baking dish.
2.
Drop the tomatoes into boiling water for a few seconds, refresh in cold water, then skin, quarter, deseed and chop the flesh very finely.
3.
Mix the olives and capers with the tomatoes, add the Marsala and season to taste with salt and pepper.
4.
Spread the tomato sauce on the tuna steaks, sprinkle with the breadcrumbs and drizzle with olive oil. Cover the dish with foil and bake the fish in the oven for about 30 minutes. Serve garnished with shredded basil.
