200 grams Wheat
200 grams Pastry flour
2 tsps Sea salt
2 Tbsps sunflower oil
Pastry flour (for the work surface)

Preparation steps

Grind the wheat berries very finely and mix in a bowl with the flour and salt. Form a well in the flour mixture. Add 300 ml (approximately 1 cup) of lukewarm water and knead from the middle until a smooth paste is formed. Add the oil and continue to knead. Cover and let to rest in a warm place about 40 minutes. Divide the dough into 12-15 equal large balls. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to 16 to 18 cm (approximately 6 inch) large circles.

Cook the chapatis in a dry skillet (or hot pizza stone) for 1 to 2 minutes per side.
