Preparation steps

Grind 1/4 portion of the hazelnuts into a fine texture. Coarsely chop the rest. Toast the hazelnuts in a dry skillet until fragrant and golden. In a bowl, combine the hazelnuts with the softened butter and season with salt and pepper to taste. Make sure it is well blended

Place in a small bowl or crock and refrigerate until ready to use. This butter can also be formed into logs, tightly wrapped and frozen for up to 3-months
