200 grams honey
100 grams sugar
50 grams butter
1 Tbsp water
1 egg
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
500 grams Pastry flour
1 packet Baking powder
100 grams powdered sugar

Preparation steps

Mix honey, sugar, butter and water in a saucepan, heat, melt and then chill in a bowl. Once almost cooled, add egg and stir. Add flour and baking powder and knead. On a floured surface, roll out about 1/2 cm (approximately 1/5 inch) thick and cut out fir tree shaped cookies with a knife or cookie cutter. Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated 200°C (approximately 400°F) oven for about 15 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Mix icing sugar in a bowl with about 1 tablespoon of water.

Decorate cookies with powdered sugar mixture and let dry. Color and decorate as desired with food coloring. Drop small colorful dots on the white icing with the help of a toothpick and decorate as desired.
