- 12 Chicken legs
- 2 untreated lemons
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 Tbsps honey
- salt
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped Basil
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F) convection.

Rinse the chicken legs, pat dry, chop off the joint and push the meat up a little on the bone. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut one lemon into thin slices, halve the second lemon and squeeze the juice. Peel the garlic, chop finely and mix with the oil, the honey and lemon juice. Brush the chicken with the honey mixture, season with salt and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Turn occasionally while baking and brush with the honey mixture. During the last 10 minutes add the lemon slices to the baking sheet. Garnish with basil and serve.
