- 1 red pepper (diced)
- 2 cups canned Tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato passata
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 1 cup Corn salad (lamb's lettuce)

- freshly ground Black pepper

Preparation steps
1.
Drain the beans and mix with the pepper, chopped tomatoes, passata, and seasoning in a large casserole dish.
2.
Cover with the stock and place the dish over a medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes, cover with a lid, and transfer to the oven.
3.
Bake for 4-5 hours, stirring from time to time, until the beans are very tender.
4.
Adjust the seasoning to taste and serve with a garnish of lamb's lettuce.
