Preparation steps

1.

Rinse, trim and slice the summer squash. Peel and halve the garlic. Coat a frying pan with the olive oil, add garlic and summer squash and cook over medium heat about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper, remove from pan and drain on paper towels.

Preheat a grill pan. Shape ground beef into 4 patties. Cook in the grill pan on both sides for each 3-4 minutes per side. After turning, season with salt and pepper.

3.

Cut the mozzarella into slices. Cut the rolls horizontally and fill with mozzarella, summer squash, meat patties and garlic. Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
