- 3 slices tuscan white bread (thick)
- 15 Cocktail tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic cloves
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 sprigs thyme (leaves)
- 6 baby gherkins
- 8 slices Parma ham
- 2 Tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper

Preparation steps

Cut the bread into 3 cm/1 inch cubes. Puree the garlic finely with the oil and briefly toss the bread cubes in the flavored oil. Wash and dry the tomatoes and thread on wooden skewers with the bread, alternating tomatoes with bread. Sprinkle with thyme.

Grill on all sides on a hot grill for about 5 minutes.

Drain the gherkins, slice lengthways and put on plates with the Parma ham. Mix the oil with the lemon juice and sprinkle over the gherkins and ham. Arrange the skewers on top and season lightly with pepper and salt. Serve at once.
