Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 170°C (150°C in a fan oven), 325°F, gas 3 and line a baking tray (30 x 24 cm) with grease-proof paper.
2.
Melt the butter and the honey in a pan over a low heat. Stir in the dried fruit, almonds, nuts, coconut, cereals and flour and spread the mixture 1 cm thick onto the grease-proof paper. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
3.
Meanwhile melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot, but not boiling, water. Once melted, take it off the pan and leave to cool slightly.
4.
Take the baked muesli mixture out of the oven, leave to cool and cut into 2 x 8 cm bars. Dip one side in the melted chocolate and leave to dry, chocolate-side up, on a cooling rack or baking tray.
