- 800 grams young carrots
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 125 milliliters dry white wine (or water)
- 2 tsps honey
- salt
- 1 splash lemon juice

Peel and trim carrots. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a frying pan. Add carrots and sauté over low heat, 1-2 minutes. Deglaze with white wine (or a little water).

Bring carrots and wine to a boil, then reduce heat slightly.

Cook carrots until tender, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. The liquid should be almost completely evaporated.

Shortly before the end of the cooking time, stir honey and remaining butter into carrots, swirling the pan, and cook until carrots are glazed. Season with salt and lemon juice and serve.
