800 grams young carrots
2 Tbsps butter
125 milliliters dry white wine (or water)
2 tsps honey
salt
1 splash lemon juice

Preparation steps

Peel and trim carrots. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a frying pan. Add carrots and sauté over low heat, 1-2 minutes. Deglaze with white wine (or a little water).

Bring carrots and wine to a boil, then reduce heat slightly.

Cook carrots until tender, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. The liquid should be almost completely evaporated.
