2 Tbsps honey
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp butter

Preparation steps

1.

Peel and trim the carrots, leaving 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) of the green stem intact. Cook the carrots in boiling salted water for 8 minutes. Add the sugar and honey to a pan, and caramelize until golden brown.

Deglaze the caramel with the lemon juice and the soy sauce, then briefly cook. Drain the carrots, and add to the pan.

Add the butter to the pan, and mix until thoroughly combined. Season to taste with the coarse sea salt. This dish goes well with sautéed meats or fish.
