1 shallot
4 garlic cloves
2 Tbsps sesame oil
2 tsps brown sugar
1 tsp Rice flour
100 milliliters soy sauce
3 Tbsps Rice wine
Red pepper flakes

4 Steak each 250 grams (such as loin)
cilantro (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Peel shallot and garlic and finely chop both. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a frying pan and lightly fry shallot and garlic until golden brown. Add sugar and flour, mix and pour in soy sauce and rice wine. Simmer for a few minutes and season with red pepper flakes and salt.

Rinse meat, pat dry and fry in a hot pan for 2 minutes on each side (longer or shorter depending on the desired degree of cooking). Then cook under a preheated oven broiler, watching carefully, on the wire rack (including drip pan) for about 10 minutes. Place steaks on plates, pour garlic sauce over top and serve garnished with cilantro leaves.
