Ingredients

For the salad
2 slices Roast beef (each about 200-250 grams)
1 Tbsp clarified butter
250 grams mixed Lettuce (to taste)
150 grams Strawberries
For the dressing
2 Tbsps White vinegar
1 tsp Raspberry vinegar
4 Tbsps olive oil
1 tsp cane sugar
½ tsp Mustard
salt
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

1.

For the salad: Brown the roast beef on each side until brown in a very hot skillet with clarified butter. Reduce heat and cook on each side 2-4 minutes depending on the degree of doneness preferred. Remove from skillet and wrap in foil. Let rest for about 5 minutes.

Rinse lettuces, trim, spin dry and tear into small pieces as needed. Rinse and trim strawberries.

3.

For the dressing: Combine all the dressing ingredients together and season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix with the prepared salad and strawberries. 

4.

Cut roast beef across the grain into thin slices. Spread salad on plates and arrange slices of roast beef on top before serving.
