3
Ingredients
750 grams Berry (such as, strawberries, raspberries, currants, blueberries)
250 grams jam sugar (3:1)
3 Tbsps lemon juice

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse, drain and pick out the berries. Wash the jars thoroughly.

2.

Crush the berries coarsely and add to the jam sugar and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Mix well and leave to stand for about 30 minutes.

3.

Bring to a boil, while stirring, and cook for 4 minutes until bubbly.

4.

To test for a setting point, place 1-2 teaspoons of jam on a cold plate. If the jam hasn't set after 1 minute continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes.

5.

Pour the jam into the hot jars and seal immediately with their lids. Turn the jars upside down for 10 minutes and then place the right way up to cool completely. Provide labels.

Tip: To preserve the jam for longer, you will need to process the jars according to manufacturer's instructions, or visit
