- 175 grams ground Spelt berries
- 50 grams Pastry flour (Type 1050)
- Baking powder
- 50 grams honey
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 egg (medium-sized)
- 75 grams softened butter
- For the topping
- 100 grams pitted Prune
- 100 grams Apricot
- 50 grams dried Apple ring
- Banana chip
- Almond slivers
- chopped Cashews
- 100 grams grated Hazelnuts
- 100 grams butter
- 150 grams honey
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar

Preparation steps

Mix both types of flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add the honey, vanilla sugar, egg and butter and mix everything into a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Knead dough briefly and roll out on a greased baking sheet, dusting with a little flour. Chop fruits and mix with the nuts.

Heat honey, butter and vanilla in a pot, while stirring, until everything is dissolved. Stir fruit-nut mixture into the honey-butter-mass. While still warm, spread the covering on the crust. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan: 160°C, gas mark 2-3) (approximately 350°F) for about 25 minutes. Let cool overnight. Cut into bars 3x7 cm (approximately 1 x 2 3/4 inch).
