Frisee with Prosciutto-Wrapped Carrots
- For the carrots
- 1 bunch carrots
- 80 grams Prosciutto
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Maple syrup
- lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds
Peel carrots and cook in salted boiling water, 10-12 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain again.
For the carrots, cut prosciutto into strips. Wrap carrots with prosciutto. In a pan, fry carrots in olive oil. Drizzle with maple syrup and lemon juice. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and turn carrots to coat.
For the salad, rinse, trim and spin frisee dry. Season vinegar with salt and pepper and whisk in oil. Toss frisee with dressing and serve with carrots.
