Fat (butter, margarine or oil)
freshly ground Pepper

Preparation steps

1.

Boil the potatoes the day before if possible. Peel the same day and leave to cool overnight.

2.

Heat the fat in a large pan, add the potatoes, reduce the heat and cook until the bottom layer is lightly browned (takes about 8 minutes).

3.

Do not set the temperature too high otherwise the potatoes will burn.

4.

Season with salt and pepper before serving.
