- 50 grams Pastry flour
- 1 small egg
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 3 Banana
- 4 tsps liquid Orange blossom honey
- 2 tsps toasted Sesame seeds

Preparation steps

Sift flour if necessary through a sieve to remove lumps. Mix the flour with about 80 ml (approximately 1/3 cup) of ice-cold water and egg to make a tempura batter. Heat vegetable oil to 170°C (approximately 340°F).

Slice bananas into 3 cm (approximately 1 1/4 inch) pieces, individually dip pieces in the batter, drain briefly and fry until golden brown for 1-2 minutes.

Remove from oil with a slotted spoon, drain on paper towels and insert a toothpick into each piece. Drizzle with the liquid honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve warm.
