- 500 grams fava Beans
- 300 grams potatoes
- salt
- 7 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 thinly sliced chili pepper

Preparation steps

Rinse, peel and dice the potatoes. Remove the fava beans from the shell and place in a large saucepan with the diced potatoes. Cover with water and simmer for 20 minutes. Drain, cover with fresh water and a pinch of salt and simmer for another 30 minutes.

Drain the beans and potatoes well and return to the saucepan. Puree with an immersion blender while gradually adding the olive oil until a smooth and creamy consistency is obtained. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the puree to a serving bowl and garnish with the sliced chile pepper.
