300 grams Broad bean
3 garlic cloves
4 Tbsps olive oil
1 tsp ground Cumin
1 generous pinch finely ground chili peppers
½ lemon (juiced)

Preparation steps

Soak the beans the day before in plenty of cold water. Peel and finely dice the garlic. Drain the beans, then add to a pot with the garlic and 1 l (approximately 1 quart) of water. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook for 30 minutes.

Drain the beans and garlic in a colander. Heat the oil in a pan, then sauté the spices in the oil. Deglaze with the lemon juice. Puree the spice and lemon juice mixture with the beans and the garlic in the blander. Season to taste with salt and pepper, transfer to bowls, and serve.
