2 kilograms Elderberry
2 ripe Pear
1 ½ kilograms jam sugar (1: 1)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and clean elderberries, dry and combine with a little water. Cook until berries start to disintegrate. Strain through a sieve and squeeze berries well. Measure juice and combine with the same amount of jam sugar.  

2.

Add peeled and diced pears and bring to a boil, stirring. Simmer for 4 minutes, bubbling, and pour into prepared preserving jars. Seal well and turn upside down. Let cool for 10 minutes and return to normal position, cool completely. Store in a cool and dark place. Serve as needed.
