500 grams Elderberry
2 Pear
300 milliliters black Currant juice
100 milliliters Apple juice
2 Tbsps honey
1 organic lemon (zest)
1 Vanilla bean (halved with seeds scraped out)
2 Tbsps cornstarch

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the elderberries and drain well. Peel pears, quarter, core and cut into pieces. Add the elderberries and pears to a pot along with the currant juice, apple juice, honey, lemon zest, vanilla bean pod and vanilla seeds.

Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove the vanilla bean pod. In a small bowl, stir the cornstarch with some water to make a paste. Stir the cornstach mixture into the elderberry mixture. Cook until the elderberry mixture is thick and glossy. Remove from heat, cool and serve.
