250 grams Pastry flour
125 grams butter
1 egg
2 Tbsps sugar
5 Tbsps water
Various Berry (for filling)
2 Tbsps sugar

Preparation steps

1.

Press flour on work surface and form a well in center. Whisk egg into bowl, spread cold butter in small pieces around edge, sprinkle with butter and quickly knead with water to form dough. Shape dough into bullet, wrap in foil and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Roll dough out thin and cut out circles. Place dough around upturned ovenproof dish lined with baking paper and press against dough to form basket shape. Lay piece of dough over another lined bowl to form basket handle shape.

Bake bowl and handle shaped dough pieces for 20 minutes at 200°C (approximately 400°F,) let cool, and detach from baking paper.

4.

Rinse berries, pat dry and marinate briefly with sugar. Fill bread basket with berries, garnish with mint, and insert bread handle.
