- 6 slices cold Bacon
- 4 slices firm white bread (or whole grain)
- 2 Tbsps butter (at room temperature)
- ½ head small Romaine lettuce
- 1 large Tomato (sliced)
- Mayonnaise (to taste)
- Potato chip (to serve)

Preparation steps
1.
Arrange the slices of cold bacon, in a large nonstick skillet. Turn heat to low, and cook, turning once, for about 6 minutes or until the bacon is nicely browned. Transfer the bacon to absorbent paper towels to drain.

Lightly spread butter over both sides on the bread and toast in a grill pan or on a griddle, until golden brown.

Spread mayonnaise on one side of the toasted bread. Arrange a layer of lettuce, sliced tomato, and bacon over the bread. Cover with the remaining bread slice, mayonnaise side down and press down lightly. Cut in half with a serrated knife, and serve with potato chips.
