28 ozs boneless stewing Lamb (cubed)
1 onion (chopped)
4 large potatoes (peeled and chopped)
6 carrots (sliced)
1 stick Celery (chopped)
2 Tbsps flour
salt
peppers
2 cups Red wine

Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4.

Heat the oil in a flameproof casserole dish and brown the meat on all sides. Remove the meat and set aside.
3.
Add the vegetables to the dish and cook for 5 minutes. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring.
4.
Pour in the wine and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the meat and bring to a boil.
5.
Cover and cook in the oven for 1-2 hours until the lamb is tender. Serve with mashed potatoes.
