Party snacks do not always have to be unhealthy. These cucumber snacks show how it's done: Paprika brings vitamin C, which not only strengthens the immune system but also helps the body burn fat. The cucumber is full of healthy ingredients such as fistein, which supports brain performance. Bitter substances activate digestive juices and enzymes of the liver, bile and pancreas.

The party snacks can be varied according to your preferences. For example, you can also use carrots, kohlrabi or zucchini for the filling. The cucumber snacks with sheep's cheese go down well at any party buffet and are a healthy alternative to classic snacks. 


2 long Cucumber
1 red Bell pepper
1 yellow Bell pepper
6 ounces Feta
2 tablespoons black Olives (pitted)
½ red onion
olive oil
freshly ground peppers
2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
Basil (for garnish)

Preparation steps


Peel cucumber and cut into thick slices. Use a teaspoon to remove a portion of the center of each slice, so that the discs are slightly hollowed, but not completed cored.


Rinse bell peppers, cut in half, remove seeds and cut into very small dice. Peel onion and dice finely. Cut feta cheese into small pieces. Cut olives into small pieces.


Mix bell peppers, onion and olives with 3 tablespoons olive oil and season with salt, pepper and vinegar. Let stand 10 minutes. Add cheese and mix briefly.

Fill cucumber slices with the mixture and season with some salt and pepper.

Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with basil leaves.
