8 slices Italian white bread (thick cut)
16 dried tomatoes (in oil)
salt
freshly ground peppers
8 Olives
Basil
cold-pressed olive oil

Preparation steps

1.

Drain tomatoes and coarsely chop. Puree tomatoes in a blender. Season with salt and pepper. Toast the bread slices until golden brown. Drizzle each slice of toast with olive oil. Spread the tomato pesto on the toasts. 

2.

Garnish each with an olive and a little basil. Serve immediately.
