Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the lamb, pat dry and chop. Rinse, trim and chop the chile peppers. Peel the garlic and the onions, cut garlic into slices and cut onions into cubes.

Brown the meat in hot oil on all sides. Add garlic, onions and chile pepper and cook briefly. Add turmeric and cumin and pour in the stock. Season with salt and pepper, cover and simmer gently about 1 1/2 hours.

Peel the potatoes and dice. Rinse the cucumber, cut into slices and add to the sauce ​with the potatoes after 20 minutes of cooking.

Rinse the bell peppers, cut in half, trim and chop. Add to stew during the last 30 minutes of cooking and add a little more stock, if necessary. Season with salt and pepper and serve with rice, if desired.
