Beat the butter, sugar, cinnamon, salt and cloves. Fold in the flour and 2 tablespoons of whipped cream. Chop the cherries. Knead the almonds, candied fruit and pistachios into the dough. Knead in the remaining cream. Use a teaspoon to portion heaps of the dough and place on a lined baking sheet. Bake for about 15-18 minutes at 180°C (approximately 350°F). Remove from the oven and let cool. Serve warm.
