Preparation steps

Preheat the broiler.

Halve the ciabatta horizontally and cut into pieces. Spread the cut sides with the cheese. Rinse, trim, and divide the arugula onto the bread. Rinse, halve, trim, and cut the peppers into strips. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper skin side up. Brush with oil and cook for 5 minutes under the broiler until the skin starts to bubble.

Remove from the oven and divide onto the pieces of ciabatta. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and serve.
