- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 14 ozs canned Tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (crushed)
- ⅓ cup dark brown sugar
- 3 Tbsps Cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp tomato puree
- salt
- peppers

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the onion. Cook over a low heat for about 5 minutes, until softened but not browned.

Add the remaining ingredients, season to taste with salt and pepper and mix well.
3.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes, until thickened. Spoon into a serving bowl.
