cup
Milk chocolate (chopped)
cup
plain Chocolate (chopped)
¾ cup
6
½ cup
superfine caster sugar
cup

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C in a fan oven), 400°F, gas 6 and line four ramekins (approx. 10 cm in diameter) with grease-proof paper.
2.
Melt both types of chocolate with the butter in a bain-marie.
3.
Beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy. Slowly stir in the chocolate and butter mixture, then fold in the flour.
4.
Spoon the mixture into the ramekins and bake for approx. 7 minutes. A slight crust should form on the top of each cake, but it should still feel very soft (be careful - it's hot!).
5.
Cool the cakes briefly then remove from the ramekins using the grease-proof paper. Serve immediately.
