- 2 cups Ketchup
- 2 cups Tomato sauce
- 1 ¼ cups brown sugar
- 1 ⅛ cups Red wine vinegar
- ½ cup un-sulfured Molasses
- 4 tsps hickory-flavored liquid smoke
- 2 Tbsps butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Onion powder
- ¼ tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp Celery seed
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 Chicken drumstick

Preparation steps
1.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, mix together the first seven ingredients. Season with the last eight ingredients.
2.
Reduce heat to low, and simmer for up to 20 minutes. Add water if necessary. Let cool.
3.
Set aside 1/2 cup of sauce. Place the chicken and remaining sauce in a one gallon resealable plastic storage bag. Squeeze bag to coat the chicken. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
4.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
5.
Grill chicken for 8 to 10 minutes on each side. Brush on another layer of sauce on each side of the chicken.
6.
Serve with bread.
