Ingredients
- Ingredients
- 400 grams Puff pastry dough (frozen)
- 5 Chicken breasts (each about 150 grams)
- 1 stalk Leeks
- 2 red Bell pepper
- 200 grams grated Cheese (such as Emmentaler)
- 2 Tbsps Crème fraiche
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 3 Tbsps Sesame seeds
- 1 egg (lightly beaten)
Preparation steps
Thaw puff pastry.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Rinse the chicken breasts, pat dry and chop fine. Rinse and chop the leek. Rinse and halve bell peppers, remove seeds and ribs and chop fine. Mix the chicken with leek, bell peppers, cheese and creme fraiche and season well with salt and pepper.
Roll out the puff pastry into 2 rectangles, about 60 x 12 cm (approximately 24 x 5 inches). Spread half of chicken mixture on top of each rectangle. Brush the edges with beaten egg, roll the pastry lengthwise into a log and press edges lightly to seal. Cut each log into 8-10 pieces. Brush each piece with beaten egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake until golden brown, about 40 minutes. Serve immediately.
