Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the brussels sprouts and cook for 10 minutes in salted water over low heat. Add to an ice water bath, then drain well.

2.

Heat the oil in a wok (or large frying pan) and sauté the brussels sprouts for 5 minutes. Season to taste with the chili powder and salt. Divide into bowls, and use a vegetable peeler to shave the parmesan over the brussels sprouts for garnish.
