- 7 ozs Dark chocolate
- 1.6666 cups sugar
- 10 Tbsps butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup Pastry flour
- ½ cup chopped Walnut
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Preparation steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt over a double boiler. Remove from the heat, let cool until lukewarm, and beat in the butter and sugar. Let the sugar dissolve while stirring. Gradually stir in the eggs. Fold in the flour and nuts. Mix everything into a smooth batter and form small balls. If the dough is too loose, add extra flour. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the balls on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and cool. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
