- 1 kilogram mixed Shellfish (ready to cook; such as squid, fish fillet, king prawn)

- ½ lemon (juice)
- 60 grams Pastry flour
- 2 eggs
- 150 milliliters breadcrumbs
- vegetable oil (for frying)

Preparation steps

Rinse octopus, fish and shrimp and pat dry. Season all seafood with salt, pepper and lemon juice and coat with flour. Tap off excess flour and dip portions in beaten eggs and then bread with breadcrumbs. Fry portions in preheated 170°C (approximately 350°F) oil in a pot or a deep fryer for 3-4 minutes (some fish may need to fry a little longer depending on thickness) until golden brown.

Drain on absorbent paper towel and place in preheated 80°C (approximately 175°F) oven to keep warm until everything is fried.
