- For the avocado dip
- 2 Avocados (peeled and stones removed)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- ½ cup Crème fraiche
- juiced Limes
- For the nuggets
- 2 cups fine, white breadcrumbs
- 12 Chives (finely chopped)
- 1 green chili pepper (seeds removed and finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsps black Onion seed
- ⅔ cup flour
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 4 Chicken breasts (skinned and cut into chunks)
- vegetable oil (for deep frying)
- Chives (to garnish)

Preparation steps
1.
Mix together the ingredients for the avocado dip, season with salt and pepper and set aside.
2.
In a large bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the chopped chives, chilli and onion seeds.
3.
Season the flour with salt and pepper and place in a large bowl.
4.
Coat each piece of chicken in the flour, shaking off any excess, dip into the beaten egg then coat with the breadcrumbs.
5.
Heat the oil in a large pan until smoking then deep fry the chicken nuggets in batches until they are golden brown and cooked through. Drain on kitchen paper and serve the nuggets with the avocado dip.
