500 grams Blackberry
600 grams Elderberry
juice of lemons
500 grams jam sugar (2:1 ratio)

Preparation steps

Wipe the blackberries to remove any dirt or debris. Rinse the elderberries, drain thoroughly, and remove from the vine. Mix the berries with lemon juice and the jam sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook the berry mixture for 4 minutes, continuing to stir.

Fill the prepared jars to the brim with the hot jam. Seal tightly and turn upside down for 15 minutes to cool. Turn right side up and cool completely. If you'd like, decorate the jars with labels and a piece of cloth to give as a gift.
