10 centiliters white Rum
Oranges (juice)
½ packet Bourbon vanilla powder
50 grams cane sugar
1 Star fruit
2 sprigs mint
1 Tbsp butter
½ Tbsp vegetable oil

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the bananas. Heat the butter and oil in a pan. Add the bananas and saute until golden brown. Remove the bananas from the pan and keep warm. Add the sugar to the pan.

2.

When the sugar has melted, add the orange juice, a little water and the vanilla sugar. Simmer over low heat for about 30 seconds. Place the bananas into the sauce.

3.

Heat the rum, pour into the banana mixture and flambe. Serve immediately, garnished with mint and star fruit slices.
